The academic year of 2022-2023 has been full of challenges. Still, nonetheless, students of the Applied Theology residential program have completed all modules, and at the end of June, they successfully defended their theses. The students have proved that their time studying at UETS was not in vain – they’ve shown their deep understanding and practical implication of the topics of their research.
Here are examples of some topics that UETS students researched in their theses: the idea of perfection in Matthew 5:48 in the context of two statements 5:38-47 and in the context of modern Ukraine; salvation of people outside the church; the subjective and objective side of the forgiveness of sin; remaining a person striving for justice; the process of sanctification in Romans 6–8: worldview and values components and practical paradigms of embodiment.
Throughout their years of studying at the “Applied Theology” program, our students have gained knowledge and skills for effective church ministry and work in Christian organizations, learned to think more deeply about their faith, and grew in understanding of their own calling.
We thank God for His continuing presence and guidance for our students in their growing in the knowledge of our Lord.
