On July 7, the Introduction to Art Therapy Methods Workshop was held on the UETS campus. The participants learned about body-oriented therapy, isotherapy, sand therapy, art food therapy, fairy-tale therapy, film therapy, and even had a chance to practice those methods.
With the vast numbers of people now carrying psychological wounds caused by the war in Ukraine, we have a huge need for the kind of specialists equipped with various art therapy methods, which have proven to be an effective and non-threatening way to work with traumatized people.
At this moment, UETS is holding its recruiting process for the Art Therapy Program for the new academic year of 2023-2024. This program aims to train psychology specialists, volunteers, and church ministers in various methods of art therapy, which will allow them to improve the quality of a diagnostic process and enhance the effectiveness of their individual and group counseling practices.
Please, join us in prayers for the success of the recruiting campaign so that more new students passionate about serving the Lord join the Art Therapy Program and are equipped with important skills for carrying out trauma healing ministry in Ukraine.
