Amidst the ongoing war, psychological support of people in Ukraine remains one of the priority areas which needs further advancement on many levels.
As UETS continually strives to answer to the needs of the Ukrainian people fulfilling God’s Integral Mission, one of UETS development goals for the future year is to launch a Psychological Counseling Center. The purpose of such a Center is to deliver God’s love and care to people through caring for their psychological needs.
We aim to create a space open and accessible to anyone in need of psychological support. Through various activities and services like support groups, therapy, counseling, Christian care, seminars, and workshops, etc., we will build people’s psychological resilience, improve their mental health, educate them on topics relating to psychological well-being and self-care, as well as topics relating to basic support of people who experience loss or have gone through some traumatic experience.
We will form a network of highly-qualified qualified psychologists, Christian counselors and involve UETS last year psychology students to work in the Center.
Please pray for God’s support and guidance in matters relating to the Center’s launch and development so that we are able to deliver God’s love to people through this important work.
