The Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary (UETS) is honored to be one of the co-founders of the Diyalogue Public Union—an organization committed to fostering community development and supporting vulnerable groups through cooperation, dialogue, and social action. Founded in 2023, Diyalogue creates platforms for collaboration across social sectors, offers practical assistance, and implements values-based initiatives that promote inclusivity and resilience. Together with Diyalogue, UETS supports a range of programs, including the Soul and Word Counseling Center, psychological support groups, humanitarian aid, and publishing of resources.
A central area of collaboration is the rehabilitation and adaptation of people who have acquired disabilities, particularly due to the war. This initiative focuses on eliminating barriers and enabling full participation in community life. The project promotes accessibility, skill development, and social inclusion, based on Christian values of dignity, love, and mutual respect. So far:
Despite growing impact, the need remains urgent. Over 2.7 million people in Ukraine live with disabilities, but only 30% have stable employment, and less than half of urban areas are accessible. This project is changing those numbers. Through certified workshops, media campaigns, adaptive sport programs, and psychological support, we are equipping communities to welcome and empower those with disabilities. This collaborative work between UETS and Diyalogue reflects a long-term vision of a society where every individual can live with dignity, purpose, and hope.
