On March 22-24, the faculty and staff of the Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary were happy to welcome a team from the Outreach Foundation on its campus.
The team was composed of the executive Rev. Dr. Mark Mueller, associate director for mission Rev. Dr. Thomas Boone, retired brigadier general and husband of one of the foundation trustees, Victor Petrenko, and the President of the College of Theology and Social Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, Dr. Piotr Nowak.
Engaging with Christ followers in 28 countries of the world, the Outreach Foundation helps churches and Christian organizations live out their missional calling.
Since the full-scale war started in Ukraine, the Outreach Foundation has contributed to restoration of the damaged seminary facilities, financed a power generator which helped us live through regular power outages, and supported the relief ministry of the seminary.
While in Kyiv, the representatives of the foundation had meetings with the UETS faculty and staff, church leaders, visited Irpin’ and Bucha, took part in a relief trip distributing food and other necessities to residents of remote villages.
We are grateful to God for our new friends with whom we are involved in the ministry to the Church and society!
