Головна Богослов'я UETS Study Sessions in March

UETS leadership and staff are unwavering in their commitment to the empowering of students to major in the Word of God. We believe that through high-quality Christian education we equip our students to make a significant impact on their churches and communities, regardless of the challenges they are currently facing, including the ongoing war in Ukraine. Our dedication to this mission remains steadfast as we continue to conduct all courses and even launch new programs specifically aimed to meet the unique needs arising during this challenging time. These initiatives are designed to deepen our students’ understanding of God, finding hope and peace in Him, and equip them with knowledge and practical skills to extend support to others effectively.

In March 2024, we successfully conducted 4 study sessions, both on-campus and online. Let’s take a glimpse at these important events unfolded:

1. Another modular session within the Worship and Leadership Course nestled within the Music Ministry and Theology Program was a great time for nurturing our students, active worship ministers, to grow in mature Christian character. Over two weeks, students were focused on the essence of worship, growing in true leadership prowess, and acquired invaluable skills in building and harmonizing worship teams.

2. UETS welcomed proactive Christian youth and young adults to our campus for the Formation of Youth Leaders course. Amidst dynamic discussions on biblical history and interpretational principles, students explored ways to communicate effectively Christian values to others around. The course emphasized leadership development tailored to contextual needs. This course is of great importance in the view of the need for new leaders to fill in ministry gaps in the wake of the large-scale war-related (im)migration.

3. Social Service Workshop. As part of the Missiology Program, this on-campus workshop was focused on helping students to enhance their church’s social ministry initiatives. Students learned strategies for training ministry teams purposefully and effectively, embodying the love of God through compassionate care for the needs of others.

4. Additionally, the Counseling Department conducted on campus classes within the Family Ministry Course, equipping married couples to serve families within and beyond their local church communities. The curriculum explored marriage through the lens of God’s design, providing our students with practical tools for effective ministry.

Despite the challenging circumstances, UETS is privileged to continue its ministry and offer support to the community, including those impacted by the war in Ukraine. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a holistic educational experience and contributing positively to individuals, churches, and communities, guided by our enduring faith and dedication to the Word of God.
