How the PRO-Worship Conference Unfolded
On May 23–24 in Kyiv, the PRO-Worship conference brought together ministers, musicians, and worship leaders from across Ukraine for a deep and honest conversation about the meaning of worship in a time of war. This event became more than just an educational platform—it was a spiritual space for healing, support, and rethinking one’s calling.
One of the most powerful moments of the conference was the panel discussion “Worship in Wartime”, where ministers from different regions shared personal stories, pain, and hope. Topics included adapting ministry with limited resources, forming new worship teams, and integrating grief, hope, and faith into one worship experience.
Profound and heartfelt insights came from speakers such as Denis Kondiuk, Alevtyna Artamonova, Sasha Stebliy, Volodymyr Popov, and Oleksii Kaplunskyi. The panel was moderated by Olha Kondiuk, who fostered a space of trust and genuine connection.
Participants could choose from over ten elective workshops tailored to vocalists, instrumentalists, worship leaders, and those interested in theology and social inclusion. Some of the most impactful topics included:
Musicians especially appreciated the practical workshops, such as vocal training by Alevtyna Artamonova, bass guitar techniques with Mykola Nayuk, and drumming in worship with Ivan Ushenko.
The musical worship sessions with Worship in Power, KANA, and others were a living testimony that worship can not only uplift the spirit but also heal deep wounds. Participants sang, prayed, and experienced God’s presence—even amid memories of loss, evacuation, destroyed churches, and wounded hearts.
The conference was held both offline in Kyiv and online for those who couldn’t attend in person. Many attendees expressed gratitude for the accessibility and high level of organization: streaming, seminars, and communication—all were infused with care and attention to detail.
“This was a space where I could be honest, broken, and still inspired. I'm returning to my ministry with renewed strength,” one participant shared after the conference.
PRO-Worship didn’t end on May 24—it became a launchpad for new songs, new teams, and new approaches to ministry. It was a time of renewed vision, unity, and a deep encounter with God.
