For many years, College Park Church has been a faithful friend of UETS. It has been helping UETS through visits, resources it provided, and active participation in the life of our seminary, which has always been of immense value for UETS. Yet, their support goes far beyond that.
At the heart of our strong friendship lies our prayer partnership that has been ongoing for decades: regular prayer-request mailings, dedicated prayer meetings and personal prayers.
Throughout all these years, we’ve been regularly sharing with each other our prayer needs, not only general ones concerning our communities, but also personal ones touching specific people, faculty, ministers, students, and their families. It is the consistency of this exchange and sincere dedication in prayer that makes it not just a formal partnership, but a strong relationship sustained by care for one another’s needs before God.
In the context of war that we are living in nowadays, with all the hardships that we are facing daily, this partnership has become of special value and a source of strength to us. When each day brings anxiety for the safety of loved ones and uncertainty regarding the future, knowing that there are people thousands of miles away who regularly hold Ukraine and UETS in their prayers becomes a testimony of God’s care for us and a reminder that we are not alone.
We are deeply grateful to College Park Church for their faithfulness and dedication in praying for us throughout all this time. We thank them for the fact that this prayer support has never been a one-time gesture, but has become a steady, living practice that has continued for years.
And we continue to pray for College Park as they pray for us for this kind of mutual intercession is a true expression of partnership in the service of God.
