First Day of the New Academic Year at UETS!

September 2, 2024, like in many other schools, marked the official start of a new academic year at UETS! Despite the ongoing challenges posed by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we warmly welcome both new and returning students. The seminary remains steadfast in its mission to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to grow, build their future, inspire and serve their communities, and reach out to the unreached.

This year, we embark on a new chapter in our seminary’s history. A significant milestone from last year was obtaining licensing from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for our Bachelor’s program in Applied Theology. As we step into this new academic year, we have set our sights on licensing programs in the Counseling Department and the Master’s program in Theology.

Although the war is raging on, with Russian forces continuing to target cities, civilian infrastructure, and educational institutions, we hold firm in our belief that through serving others, the Kingdom of God becomes tangible, allowing our fellow citizens to experience something greater.

We give thanks to God, who guides us through both joyful and challenging times, providing us the strength to equip ministers with the knowledge and skills needed to serve both the Church and society. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those defending our country. It is because of their bravery and dedication that we have this opportunity to continue our work. We are also grateful to all our friends and partners who make our mission possible.
