On May 22–24, 2026, the Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary (UETS) faculty and staff were honored to welcome a team from College Park Church, Indianapolis, USA, consisting of Global Outreach Pastor Nate Irwin, UETS Partnership Contact Dr. Charlie Hobbs, and Pastor of Worship Eric Anderson.
We are blessed to have faithful partners who stand with us in our mission to train and equip the next generation of church and ministry leaders. However, this is our relationship with College Park Church that has uniquely shaped the very DNA of UETS. Their influence has infused our seminary with a missional heartbeat that extends far beyond the borders of Ukraine.
Their support has taken many forms, including strengthening academic programs, providing scholarships, guest lecturing, assisting with wartime relief ministry, and contributing to essential capital projects. One of the most important aspects of this bond is the monthly exchange of prayer requests, which keeps the relationship active and dynamic.
The fruit of this partnership is seen in the lives of hundreds of leaders. Driven by College Park Church missional worldview and generosity, hundreds of individuals called by God have been trained as ministers, spreading the Gospel and planting churches in various parts of the world.
During their visit, the experience of the guests extended beyond meetings and conferences. They participated in a worship night and visited Bucha, where the Russian army committed mass atrocities. On the final day of their visit, they even find themselves in the middle of a massive aerial assault when hundreds of Russian drones and missiles were attacking the Ukrainian capital.
Nevertheless, after that terrible night, our friends visited Ukrainian churches to encourage local believers. “This is a day we will never forget,” said Nate Irwin. “However, this is one day for us, whereas for you it is just another day.”
We remain sincerely grateful for the friendship and faithfulness of College Park Church, which has stood with us in various ways for almost a quarter of a century.
